As someone who specializes in holistic Lyme disease recovery, I have been especially tuned in to how this new virus affects those of us with Lyme and autoimmune diseases. I have been pleasantly surprised thus far to see that none of my regular clients have been seriously affected by COVID. And yet I am also in tune to the reports I often hear of individuals who were diagnosed with COVID-19 and are STILL SICK months later. IT is curious to me when I hear them reporting many of the same symptoms that those with Lyme disease report. Ongoing fatigue, relapsing and remitting fevers and flu like symptoms, body aches, and more. As an associate member of ILADS ( International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) I am privileged to have access to updated information that this amazing society of doctors and practitioners supply on Lyme Disease and COVID-19.
