IF you have met with me you have probably heard me suggest that you use the Probiotic Jar veggies. What makes these fermented veggies so much superior to the sauerkraut, kombucha, kefir, etc you can buy at Whole foods or online ?

ANY ferment that has been commercially produced is going to be an AEROBIC ferment. That means oxygen got into the jar during the process. This will create a ferment that will only get to STAGE 2 of the fermentation process. In this stage, HISTAMINES are produced. For most people, that is not an issue whatsoever. It is good for their health.

However if you are working with me, you more than likely have chronic inflammation issues. So that last thing you want is more histamines. So that is why I really insist that you use the Probiotic Jar and create ANAEROBIC ferments. I simply don’t know anyone who sells ANAEROBIC ferments. It has several advantages including a high diversity of lactobacilli ( 100-600 strains ! ) and most importantly the ability to neutralize histamines. Any store bought probiotic capsule that you take will contain MAYBE 20-25 strains of beneficial lactobacillus bacteria. And those are really pricey ! Making it yourself you can save a lot of money but most important you can get a high diversity of immune system healing good bacteria and you will neutralize histamines in addition!

I have literally gotten many people off of their MAST cell and histamine suppressing medications and supplements by having them eat these veggies. They neutralize histamines better than any medication like Benadryl, Claritin, Zyrtec and more ever could.

Once you and your family start eating these amazing super healing veggies you will acquire a taste for them and begin to see and feel their many health benefits.

I say it over and over but people do need to hear this many times : You will NOT create food poisoning or botulism in this jar ! Microbes will always compete. When someone CANS their food they boil all the good and bad bacteria away- so if ANY bad bacteria remain, there are no good bacteria to fight against them. Thus the bad bacteria will proliferate and create botulism.

With the probiotic jar, the GOOD bacteria that you are growing will ALWAYS defeat any bad bacteria that may have gotten in there. Talk about the ultimate super heroes!

The most common complaint I get is that when someone makes sauerkraut or other fermented veg in the jar is the cloudy appearance. THAT IS NORMAL. IT will have lots of white floaties and will look cloudy. PLEASE remember this is not food poisoning! These are the good bacteria that your body desperately needs to heal. Do not despise them because they are unattractive. The taste is so yummy and you will grow to love them. So don’t throw them out- send me a photo if you are truly afraid and bring them to me to try them if you are feeling leery. I have tried many ferments brought to me and never once gotten sick ! MY health the the health of those eating them is the best it has been in many decades. These wonderful heroes and friends of your health will help you to recover and to beat future superbugs that you may encounter.

I tell young parents that the BEST thing you can do for yourself, your children and your future children is to eat these veggies. You most definitely WANT these amazing friends in your body to pass to your baby in utero.
